The region is organized into three provinces.
From the city of Chillán to the mountains: a region to discover all year round.
A mountain village in the commune of Pinto, at the foot of the Ñuble mountains. It is one of the region's winter destinations: skiing and snowboarding in the Nevados de Chillán area, snow in season and, in summer, hiking and mountain landscapes. It has cabins, lodging and mountain cuisine.
A ski and mountain centre in the Ñuble mountains, with a winter snow season and mountain activities for the rest of the year.
A hot-spring resort in the commune of Pinto, with thermal pools and lodging high in the mountains.
The regional capital. Murals of the Escuela México, the Cathedral, the Market and the Fair, and the birthplace of pianist Claudio Arrau.
A wine and dry-farming area, with wines, local cuisine and vineyard and countryside landscapes.
A tradition of folk pottery in the region. The project proposes to boost its tourism development.
